“I am Renée Thompson and I LOVE, LIVE, and practice Chiropractic!”

Brandon and Rutland Chiropractor, Dr. Renee ThompsonI love to help people feel and be the best they can. Since I was a little girl I always wanted to be a chiropractor; I even used to adjust my stuffed animals! In grade school, I contacted and shadowed a chiropractor. My interest in this was more than just a curiosity. When I got to high school I took special classes in anatomy and physiology. My undergraduate degree is in biology with a focus on the human physiology. I find the human body fascinating!

I am proud to say I chose to attend the FountainHead where chiropractic was born, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Now, my dream has come true and I help people by removing interference in their bodies through chiropractic care.

A Chiropractic Family

Chiropractic is in my blood. I have two uncles who go before me as entrepreneurs in the profession, another uncle who has since graduated, and many cousins who are now in practice. Growing up in a Chiropractic Family I regularly witnessed “miracles” that led me to want to do nothing else with my life but watch the body perform miracles. I have joined my Uncle Charles in practice and am very excited to be working with the FOSTERing WELLNESS team. I believe that chiropractic has something to offer everyone; that is why I, my husband, and my two children, Abri and Mason, are all under regular care. Caring for families is priority for me. I care for many pregnant women and babies helping gain and maintain health even from the start. I am so excited that for the rest of my life I get to wake up and not only do something I love, but care for people while doing it.

A Passion for Chiropractic

Renee Thompson has worked hard to educate herself for the care of her patients. At an early age she began to develop her sense of feel for the body that is so needed by a doctor of chiropractic. In high school she won the Excellence Award for anatomy and physiology. As an undergrad, she received a national scholarship for students of science and was asked to join the national Who’s Who Among Students. During her schooling, Renee worked in a chiropractic office as a patient educator and rehab instructor. While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic she was a constant fixture on the Dean’s and President’s lists, graduating Magne Cume Lade. Her passion for chiropractic and people is genuine and energizing.
